Water Conservation Artwork Competition

Fourth, Fifth and Sixth grade students who live within the North Plains Groundwater Conservation District are invited to enter the annual Water Conservation Artwork Contest.  Winning artwork will be featured in the annual NPGCD calendar which is free to the public at the District office in Dumas.  The first place winner will receive a $50 cash prize, a certificate of recognition and will have their artwork featured on the cover of the calendar.  Twelve second place winners will each receive a $25 cash prize, a certificate of recognition, and will have their artwork featured on one month inside the calendar.  Children can draw, paint or use any other medium to depict water conservation.  Deadline for submission of artwork to North Plains Groundwater Conservation District for the 2011 calendar is October 15, 2010.  Artwork should be sent to NPGCD with the entry form, which can be downloaded here.
