Permit Fees

Adopted by Board in July and August 2009

Total Permit Fee

Test Hole Permit     $100.00

Well Permit              $500.00

*An additional $250 expedited permit fee will be charge for any well drilled within the same day as the issuance of the permit unless a field technician is available and all needed forms are on file.

Test hole permits are valid for sixty (60) days. Once a test permit expires it may not be extended. Applicant must begin permitting process again.

Well Permits are valid for one-hundred-fifty (150) days. Once a well permit expires it may not be extended. Applicant must begin permitting process again.

North Plains Groundwater Conservation District does not refund any part of the Test Hole Permit Fee or the Well Permit Fee.
