Permit Fees

DEPOSITS AND FEE SCHEDULE

FOR WELL AND TEST-HOLE PERMITS

Adopted by Board September 12, 1995

 

Total Permit Fee - $275.00

Administrative Fees

Test Hole Permit $25.00

Well Permit         $25.00

Deposits

Test Hole Permit $250.00

Well Permit         $250.00

*An additional $250 expedited permit fee will be charge for any well drilled within the same day as the issuance of the permit unless a field technician is available and all needed forms are on file.

If a test hole permit is issued and all District Rules are complied with there will be no administrative fee for the first well permit; the test hole permit deposit will be transferred to the first well permit. The second well permit will require a deposit but no administrative fee.

Test hole permits are valid for forty-five (45) Days. Extension of time may be applied for by applicant.  See NPGCD Rule 9 for extension of time.

Well Permits are valid for one-hundred-twenty (120) days. Extension of time may be applied for by applicant. See NPWD Rule 9 for this procedure.

EXTENSIONS ARE NOT AUTOMATIC!! Test Hole Permits and Well Permits are considered EXPIRED on the expiration date unless requests for extensions have been timely and properly filed with the District. Well Permit extensions are reviewed by the Board of Directors, therefore, requests should be made in as timely a manner as possible.


Refund Policy:

100% ($250) of the Well or Test Hole Permit Deposit will be refunded if:

1. The Application for Well or Test Hole Permit is denied, or

2. Log of well and pump information or test hole log and plugging report is returned within thirty (30) days after expiration date of permit, or

3. Permit is canceled, by the applicant, before expiration date.  See NPGCD Rule 13 for deposit refund information.
