District Rules for 2010 thru 2012 3.3 Allowable Annual Production: Allowable Annual Production ("Allowable Annual Production") shall be set by the Board. A. Through December 31, 2010, the Allowable Annual Production shall not be greater than two (2) acre-feet per acre... B. For the calendar year 2011, the Allowable Annual Production shall be One and three-quarter (1.75) acre-feet per acre. C. Beginning January 1, 2012, the Allowable Annual Production shall be One and one-half (1.5) acre-feet per acre. 3.4 Conservation Reserve: An Owner may accumulate a Conservation Reserve by reserving all, or a portion of, the current year's (Reserve Year) Allowable Annual Production on a property. Thereafter, the Owner may apply the Property's Conservation Reserve, not to exceed 0.50 acre-feet per acre per Year, to increase the Property's Allowable Annual Production. If the Conservation Reserve is not utilized within the two year period following the Reserve Year, any accumulated Conservation Reserve terminates for the Reserve Year. The Conservation Reserve may only be used on the Property on which the Allowable Annual Production was reserved. The Property must be in production for a full year before it qualifies for the Conservation Reserve. An Owner may not reserve from a future year's Allowable Annual Production to increase the current years Allowable Annual Production. The Conservation Reserve shall only be available to an Owner if Annual Production Reports for the property have been timely filed. Groundwater Production Reports are due March 1 of each year. Production reporting forms are mailed out in the fall and may be submitted as soon as production is completed for the year. The "Annual Groundwater Production Reporting Guide & Instructions" may be downloaded here. Production reports must be turned in or postmarked no later than Monday March 1, 2010. Reports must be completely filled out, signed and dated on both pages and have the appropriate documentation attached to them to be considered complete. We are here to help you!
