SPACING REQUIREMENTS

NEW WELL

  • Domestic
    -     No other well can be drilled within 50 yards of a domestic well
    - 0-17.5 GPM

  • Class A
    - 150 yards (9450 feet)
    - 18 -100 GPM

  • Class B
    - 250 yards (750 feet)
    - 101-400 GPM

  • Class C
    - 400 yards (1200 feet)
    - 401-800 GPM

  • Class D
    - 500 yards (1500 feet)
    - 801-1800 GPM

The Maximum production from any single well shall not exceed 1,800 GPM

REPLACEMENT, REWORKED, RE-EQUIPPED, OR UNUSED WELLS

  • Replacement
    - Must be within 50 yards (150 feet) of the existing well
    - Must meet spacing requirements for the production of what the well being
       replaced was permitted for
    - Property line spacing does not apply

  • Reworked/Re-equipped
    - Can only produce the same as the original permit allows
    - If production goes up, then a new permit must be filed and must meet the new spacing requirements

  • Unused
    - Must be in compliance with all current rules
